Regional Insurer - Quality Assurance Lead (Up to 60K)

Role overview:

The client is a Regional Insurer with vibrant and flexible culture, currently looking for a Quality Assurance Lead. As a QA Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation of pre-production releases within a controlled staging environment. You will balance project delivery risks with stakeholder expectations to ensure the consistent delivery of valuable features, including new applications leveraging Gen AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee standard releases and hotfixes, ensuring timely resolution of issues across multiple critical systems in alignment with RTO/RPO requirements as outlined in SLAs.
• Develop comprehensive release notes and analyze user metrics and performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Build and enhance QA and Release Management practices for Agency Application across multiple APAC markets, uplifting local teams’ capabilities through knowledge sharing and training sessions.
• Spearhead the adoption of test management tools, improving requirements traceability and test reporting.
• Work closely with local QA leads, Product Owners, and release managers to ensure structured and organized communication throughout the release timeline. You will be responsible for milestone tracking and ensuring all necessary tasks are completed on schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA leadership roles; Financial Services experience will be an advantage
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with various senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of release management processes and a structured, organized approach to delivery.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with test management tools is a plus.
